We're winning! So far, we've received over $1,000 from suing telemarketers who illegally use automated dialing and announcing devices to send recorded ads to our telephone. These devices are specifically illegal in Washington State. One settlement was made with a national telephone company (we can't disclose who due to "confidentiality agreement" as part of our settlement), and a second settlement involved SunTerra Pacific (selling time-share condos). In both cases, we never even went to court--their attorneys offered to settle out-of-court. So far, we're winning 2 to 0! And we have at least 23 other cases we can take to court.
